ICYMI: Brisbane Alt-Metal Trio KRAVE recently released their energetic new single 'Puppet'. In honour of their new release, KRAVE are back with an Official Music Video accompanying the aggressive riffage for this high-octane rock anthem!  KRAVE bare it all with a clever depiction of the push and pull within one's mind when navigating a petulant inner critic. The opening shot shows Vocalist Siana Davis on her knees with marionette strings being controlled by the 'Puppet Master', which is later revealed to be the character's own malevolent inner voice. Dancing between raw angst, frustration and ultimately empowerment from breaking the cycle and taking control of ones own mental health, 'Puppet' is a chant-along stadium ready tune sure to get your fists pumping in the air! Davis speaks on the Music Video "Puppet [Official Music Video] is a whole new level of awesome regarding its artfulness and visually compelling story. We had an incredible collaborative experience creating the vision for 'Puppet' and pouring our aesthetic ideas into an abstract, symbolic and powerfully eccentric music video! The video relays the lyrics in 'Puppet' which is about being possessed and manipulated by a strong malicious force that controls you and turns you into the deepest and most evil part of yourself. I was honoured to play the 'Puppet' and the 'Evil Puppet Master' in the video, and then Ryan (Krave guitarist) filmed and edited the entire video together and Sam (Krave drummer) directed the video and took leadership in choreographing the visual story! We are all about DIY in this band and we did this music video all by ourselves which we feel very proud of. It has a cool twist at the end too! The video relays the lyrics in 'Puppet' which is about being possessed and manipulated by a strong malicious force that controls you and turns you into the deepest and most evil part of yourself. I was honoured to play the 'Puppet' and the 'Evil Puppet Master' in the video, and then Ryan (Krave guitarist) filmed and edited the entire video together and Sam (Krave drummer) directed the video and took leadership in choreographing the visual story! We are all about DIY in this band and we did this music video all by ourselves which we feel very proud of. It has a cool twist at the end too! Several lineup changes occurred until the first lineup was complete – guitarists Simon Siantidis and Alexander Beda Maria Kleusch, bassist Fabian Albert Dey, drummer Fabian Kampa, and vocalist Katharina Heldt – which recorded two demos , Ridin’ Free   (2015) and   Mother Nature’s Child   (2016). Following the second demo, Heldt departed the band. But, that power was only simmering… Indeed, it explodes across   Cherokee ’s literally massive debut album,   Blood & Gold . Previous Cassius King press release below Former HADES founding member Dan Lorenzo has been using the CASSIUS KING moniker for years. From his debut  solo album to his endless cover song CDs with various lead vocalists. But it wasn't until 2021 when Lorenzo decided to  make an all original album with vocalist Jason McMaster ( WATCHTOWER/DANGEROUS TOYS/BROKEN TEETH/HOWLING SYCAMORE/IGNITOR ). Lorenzo released four albums in three years with his doom band VESSEL OF LIGHT when Coronavirus prevented any more live shows. "I had music to probably eight or nine more songs after VOL released Last Ride", Lorenzo said. "I didn't think the world was ready for a fifth Vessel Of Light album when we couldn't even play shows to support Last Ride. Jason sang multiple Cassius King cover songs with me and I had some music that was maybe a bit more like Hades plus a bluesy song I sent off to Jason. I was shocked how quickly Jason wrote and sang the first few songs so I recorded a few more brand new tunes. I asked Jason if he needed any help with melodies and he told me he did not. Jason said he could use some lyrical ideas though. I told that to Jimmy Schulman (Hades/Vessel Of Light) and he and Jason ended up collaborating lyrically on three songs." Schulman commented, "When Dan mentioned Jason needed some lyrical ideas, I was excited to be part of that process. Jason and I came at it a few different ways. Sometimes it was just texting back-and-forth with a line or two at a time until it took on shape. Another time, a long poem was crafted into a song. However it went though, it proved to be a cool and interesting collaboration." So what kind of music is the debut CASSIUS KING album Field Trip? Traditional heavy metal? Doom?  McMaster stated, "It was the kind of material I had been wanting to do for a long time. It feels a bit like Ozzy and Dio playing poker over some left over Sabbath material. The melodies came to me quickly, as well as some of the lyrics. Things I already had fit the visions I had upon first listen and it all flowed immediately. I would not call it a full "doom" application of terms, but, its heavy, it reminds me of what I love about Sabbath and Dio songs". Each musician brings something unique to the table, and the sum of the parts, as they say, is truly interesting and spot-on, hitting the mark with a fine-tuned sound that you would expect from a much experienced band rather than from a relatively new line-up of musicians jumping onto the scene! From the aggressive edge of metalcore and post-hardcore, down to the wholesome melodies of modern heavy metal, anything goes. Their most recent studio release, First Born Blessing, is yet another taste of the band’s resourcefulness and willingness to set the bar higher with a unique sound. Originally from Kyrgyzstan, now in Saxony, dS makes me a bit curious.  How do I find the record: Here we get an intro that mainly there is also wind but after that the black metal is unleashed. Not frenzied, but powerful, despite some synth passages and one or the other use of clear vocals. But if the vocals are used according to their status, then as the nastest scre.  Especially recommended is the track NATURE IS SIN, SPIRIT IS DEVIL, which grabbed me the most. I don't enjoy the intro and ourto, although the latter just sounds like they can't think of a good text for it.  Conclusion: Solid, albeit quite unpolished black metal, that you can definitely give yourself. Definitely worth listening to, but not a must. Front cover by Rembrandt van Rijn, 1652. Black metal side project of Darkestrah . Faustus is a jewel of the underground, I must say. It represents almost an optimal state of raw black metal, a genre with a strong focus on the atmosphere and the melodies instead of a high level of technical performance. The intro contains several archived wind sounds, which are covered by noise as it approaches its end. Admittedly, intros are not necessarily a good addition to most albums, but the sheer cold atmosphere immediately threw me into the scene, and I just can't listen to this EP again without hearing it. The first real track on the album is "Die Natur ist Sünde, Geist ist Teufel", German for "Die Natur ist Sünde, der Geist ist der Teufel" and a quotation from Goethe, which matches the Faust reference on the artwork and the band name. It's very exciting to watch how the atmosphere slowly builds up and develops in a sad and very cold direction, which is simply the main feature of this EP. The harsh vocals of Resurgemus simply cut through the sound of the guitars and despite its incomprehensibility, it is very pleasant as it melts with the music. Resurgemus, the vocalist and guitarist on this album, has done an incredible job. The sound of his riffs is typical for the raw and atmospheric nature of early German black metal and can be compared to many bands from the transition of millennia. The riffs are technically not too complex, but more than justify themselves by the skillful use of the fuzzy sound. The production quality is comparable to a recording made with a Nokia 3310 in a basement, but that's where part of the charm lies. Good production quality is not necessary with metal as long as the available resources are used intelligently, which is the case here. Asbath was responsible for the drums and did a pretty decent job. His style is not too much based on blasting parts, which are quite pleasant and can be found on this album at certain times. The overall sound was not too loud, which is a very wise decision for this kind of music, as the focus should remain on the melodic and dark tones of the guitars. FYI: How Long Does e-Juice Stay Good?   One of the most popular questions in the vaping world is; how long does e-juice stay good? Every vaper, particularly the beginners, would like to know the answer. Nobody wants to have a spoiled e-liquid. Is there an e-juice expiry date?   No matter how potent you think the e-juice is, it must not be exposed to extreme heat. It is a long-lasting concoction, but it does come with an expiry date. Vape liquid is a consumable product. You have to remember that all consumable products have ingredients that have a shelf life. If the e-juice does not have food-based ingredients, it won’t be considered safe for ingestion. What you must also know is that e-juice, with other perishables, has expiration dates which are estimates of when they are likely to go bad.   Most of the e-liquids including the menthol vape juice have a shelf life of one to two years starting from the date they are manufactured. This is particularly because of its major components such as nicotine, PG or propylene glycol, and VG or vegetable glycerin. These are the big three of an e-juice and along with flavorings, they make up almost all types of e-liquids. It has been a fact that PG, VG, and nicotine have a shelf life of about two years although this depends on their getting stored in optimal conditions.   What shortens the shelf life of e-juice?   The golden rule is to keep the e-juice away from direct heat and sunlight. When you leave the bottle of e-juice out in the sun for too long this can degrade the ingredients found in the e-juice and spoil it. When VG is exposed to as high as 250 Fahrenheit, the ingredients are more likely to disintegrate and find it hard to re-integrate even at lower temperatures. When PG is exposed to the same conditions, this can turn out unstable and lose its original vape juice flavors .   Any e-juice must not be exposed to air as well. The air is composed of several different chemicals, but it can cause problems with the lifespan of your e-juice. When oxygen interacts with nicotine, it results in the production of nicotine. This is known as the oxidation process, or the loss of two hydrogen atoms and the gain of one atom of oxygen. Simply put, exposure to oxygen may cause problems with the vape e-juice flavor as well as reduce the nicotine level of your vape juice. Such adverse effects may only be noticeable after long exposure.   How do you figure out if the vape juice has become bad?   It is already given that an e-liquid can last for one to two years, but some can last up to five years, depending on the vape flavor and brand. Each of these has a chemical structure that will affect the shelf life of a vape juice. Since expiry dates are only estimated dates, it’s still up to you to sniff out the e-juice from any vape juice Canada company. There are some signs you can look for that will tell you the e-juice is not good anymore. One of these is that the components stay separated wherein the heavier elements remain at the bottom. When shaking up the bottle a bit does not put the ingredients back together, this means the e-juice has gone bad. If you smell something funky out of your favorite e-juice bottle, chances are you need to buy a new one. If your e-liquid has been stored erroneously meaning exposed to heat or air and being not tightly sealed. Bad storage may cause a lack of flavor, nicotine, vapor, and discoloration.   How do you extend the shelf life of your vape juice?   You can enhance the flavor of e-juice when you store it for a prolonged period in the right conditions. This is the same as wine. And this process is called steeping. It is pretty easy to do. All you have to do is leave the e-juice on its own for a few weeks for its flavors to mature. The catch is that the e-liquid has to be stored in the appropriate conditions for this process to take effect.   Is it fine to vape an expired e-liquid?   You may still vape the expired e-juice, but it will not be pleasing for you. It may only disappoint you in terms of flavor and nicotine strength. If you are a seasoned vaper and you want to have a first-class experience, it’s better for you to get rid of the expired e-juice and get yourself a new one. E-liquids are not that costly, and there are hundreds of flavors for you to choose from. Get rid of the expired e-juice properly by pouring it on absorbent materials like kitty litter or used ground coffee. Make sure that they are away from the children’s reach. Don’t throw them directly into the garbage dump.   What you should know about vape juice expiry dates?   Distributors as well as manufacturers of e-juice don’t have regulations to follow about the expiry dates, display, and advertising of products. The time a vape juice lasts depends on the frequency of vaping, the wattage, and the temperature when you vape. At high temperatures, it is easy for you to finish vaping a 60mL bottle in only a week. Vaping at a wattage of 50 to 100 and at an average amount of vaping can use up a 30ml bottle in a week. Less wattage converts to less consumption.

Only guitarist Hypnos is missing, but otherwise the Dark Redeemer line-up is made up of the four remaining members of the old line-up, which debuts in this new guise thanks to Blasphemous Records with this "Into the Deep Black". Evidently Dave Battaglia, Antonio Ceresoli, Giulio Gasperini and Manuel Togni still had more to say, and they do so without forgetting the sinister atmospheres given by the horrific keyboards of Gasperini, but shifting their sounds to a more raw and direct Death Metal, son of influences ranging from the ferocious accelerations of the Swedish school (Dismember, Grave, Entombed ... the usual in short) and the colossal American rockiness (Autopsy, Immolation, Morbid Angel). And the result is this second debut, an album that, as easily undert, aims more than in the past at a very brazen and granitic approach, in which perhaps there still seems to be something to be definitively fine-tuned, but that knows very well how to strike, flooding the listener with a cascade of riffs whose sounds are totally devoted to the old school of Stockholm; and to complete the fresco we find a rhythm section perfectly in the ball, with the Pair Togni / Ceresoli that offer an impeccable performance by building an impenetrable sound wall. The Zombie squadron composed of the four musicians thus moves between archaic pieces, among which undoubtedly stand out the opener "TMC" and the highlight of the album, the third track "Killing Ritual", the song in which most of all we find the elements that make up the sounds of Ours, from the furious Swedish Death to the theatrical singing of Dave Battaglia, up to the keyboards that give that touch of a soundtrack from Zombie Movie romeriano, which we imagine is the ultimate goal of the orobic act. The skull that emerges from the Dark Redeemer logo is the main symbol of this new life of the aleph era: dark Redeemer, while bringing some elements of the old band as a dowry, are a completely new reality in its own right, a more compact and square evolution than what was their first incarnation with the last album "Thanatos". As mentioned, there is just something to fix in the songwriting phase, but the path taken seems to be the right one. In the summer of 1998 the band gathered the complete set of musicians and started a serious work on their first songs. A year later the band realized these songs into their first demo. Enthrallment distinguish from most of the death metal bands in the world with their originality. You never know what these guys will serve you in the next album. Also , they precisely mix USA and European death metal together with some kind of a more different sound and this makes them unique in the genre of death metal. Many musicians have played in the band and every one of them has left their style in the band's music and it can be seen in each release of the band. Their first concerts outside the borders of Bulgaria happened in the year 2004 when on the Serbian festival “Hellhammer” they shared the stage with the Czech band Hypnos and only a few days earlier they had gathered a great number of fans in one of the clubs for extreme music in Bucharest. They also had concerts on the same stage with Destruction, Obituary, Deicide, Vital Remains, Napalm Death, Mystic Circle and many more... It’s also worth mentioning their tour with   Malevolent Creation, Rotting Christ and Rotten Sound . In 2011 they played on the Obscene Extreme Festival . Enthrallment were formed in times of political and social turbulence. In these times the band went through a lot of changes and now they are moving forward, keep on creating new works of depravity. The show will rebroadcast  on Sunday September 26th at 9PM EST and again Monday September 27th at 6PM EST. Lorenzo is currently active with two bands,  Vessel Of Light  and  Cassius King . Both have releases on  Nomad Eel Records.  Vessel of Light is fronted by  Ancient VVisdom's Nathan Opposition  and Cassius King has  Jason   McMaster  on vocals.  Former Hades/Overkill  drummer  Ron Lipnicki  and former Hades bassist  Jimmy Schulman  are involved with both Vessel Of Light and Cassius King. Lorenzo will speak about the time COC's vocalist Karl Agill sang a Black Sabbath cover with Non-Fiction in North Carolina and the time Pantera's Phil Anselmo sang the Non-Fiction song The My Way to Lorenzo in California. Lorenzo will also play music by Alice In Chains, Kiss and Cassius King. The video was produced by Jason C. Stewart who also produced the Last Ride and Torture King videos off the last Vessel Of Light album.  "Jason has become my go-to-guy the last year and a half." said guitarist Dan Lorenzo. "His enthusiasm is off the charts and at this point I let him to whatever he wanted for Cleopatra's Needle and I think it's just as much fun to watch as it is to listen to". Overkill's Bobby Blitz commented It's really  great, I even commented, which I never do .. .  "epic" got such an old school doom vibe, but never bores ...love the journey! Previous Cassius King press release below Former HADES founding member Dan Lorenzo has been using the CASSIUS KING moniker for years. From his debut  solo album to his endless cover song CDs with various lead vocalists. But it wasn't until 2021 when Lorenzo decided to  make an all original album with vocalist Jason McMaster ( WATCHTOWER/DANGEROUS TOYS/BROKEN TEETH/HOWLING SYCAMORE/IGNITOR ). Lorenzo released four albums in three years with his doom band VESSEL OF LIGHT when Coronavirus prevented any more live shows. "I had music to probably eight or nine more songs after VOL released Last Ride", Lorenzo said. "I didn't think the world was ready for a fifth Vessel Of Light album when we couldn't even play shows to support Last Ride. Jason sang multiple Cassius King cover songs with me and I had some music that was maybe a bit more like Hades plus a bluesy song I sent off to Jason. I was shocked how quickly Jason wrote and sang the first few songs so I recorded a few more brand new tunes. I asked Jason if he needed any help with melodies and he told me he did not. Jason said he could use some lyrical ideas though. I told that to Jimmy Schulman (Hades/Vessel Of Light) and he and Jason ended up collaborating lyrically on three songs." Schulman commented, "When Dan mentioned Jason needed some lyrical ideas, I was excited to be part of that process. Jason and I came at it a few different ways. Sometimes it was just texting back-and-forth with a line or two at a time until it took on shape. Another time, a long poem was crafted into a song. However it went though, it proved to be a cool and interesting collaboration." So what kind of music is the debut CASSIUS KING album Field Trip? Traditional heavy metal? Doom?  McMaster stated, "It was the kind of material I had been wanting to do for a long time. It feels a bit like Ozzy and Dio playing poker over some left over Sabbath material. The melodies came to me quickly, as well as some of the lyrics. Things I already had fit the visions I had upon first listen and it all flowed immediately. I would not call it a full "doom" application of terms, but, its heavy, it reminds me of what I love about Sabbath and Dio songs". Drummer Ron Lipnicki ( former Overkill current Vessel Of Light)said, "I think this new album's got something for everyone it's like the fruits all line up on the slot machine." That includes fans of Hades seminal release Resisting Success as Scott LePage plays leads on the songs I Move With The Moon and King of Lies.
