They released several albums and EPs and performed all over Italy and many European countries.  Live For Your Faith is the live version of Stealth’s third album. It’s the 12th official release of the Italian metal band and was recorded during the 'Fight For Your Tour' gigs in Italy, UK and Slovenia between 2015 and 2017. Together with the remix version and the original album it is a concept trilogy with same track list and same cover artwork of all the 3 albums. So like the original album, the artwork of Live For Your Faith pays a tribute to an old C.O.D. cover. The original war-themed full length album, Fight For Your Faith, was released in 2014. Engineered and Mastered by Ays Kura Stealth · Live For Your Faith TRACKLIST 01 – 7 Hours Under Fire (Recorded live on 23rd April 2017 @ Renaissance Festival, London, UK) 02 – Risiko (Recorded live on 30th September 2017 @ Dvorana Gustav Pekarna, Maribor, Slovenia) 03 – Inner Land ( Recorded live on 23rd April 2017 @ Renaissance Festival, London, UK) 04 – Perpetual War (Recorded live on 17th April 2016 @ ADC Festival, Jailbreak, Rome, Italy) 05 – Statement to Death (Recorded live on 17th April 2016 @ ADC Festival, Jailbreak, Rome, Italy) 06 – Consumerist Dictatorship (Recorded live on 3rd April 2015 @ The Hell Within, Twister 24, Recanati, Italy) 07 – Back Again (Recorded live on 30th September 2017 @ Dvorana Gustav Pekarna, Maribor, Slovenia) 08 – Radiophobia (Recorded live on 23rd April 2017 @ Renaissance Festival, London, UK) 09 – Natural Borders (Recorded live on 30th September 2017 @ Dvorana Gustav Pekarna, Maribor, Slovenia) 10 – Last Rain (Recorded live on 3rd April 2015 @ The Hell Within, Twister 24, Recanati, Italy) The band was formed in 1997 by Daniele Gorbini (bass guitar) and Ivan Lattanzi (vocals/rhythm guitar) playing some  Metallica  cover songs. They performed their first gig on August 3 rd 1997 under the name of Metal Militia together with other 2 local musicians. After that first gig Daniele and Ivan chose Lorenzo Pimpini (lead guitar) and Roberto Rastelli (drums) to complete the band line-up. On December 1998 Metal Militia released their first self produced EP ‘Mind Is Blind’ with 6 original songs and also started playing outside of their region and got their first local radio appearances and magazine reviews.  On March 2000 the band released its second self produced EP ‘Existence’ made of 5 original tracks. At the same time the band changed its name into Stealth. At the end of the same year summer, after various gigs to publicize the new EP, drummer Roberto Rastelli sadly decided to leave the band. In November Federico Governatori replaced Rastelli at the drums. The band started writing new material and on February 2001 entered the ‘Potemkin Studio’ of  Andrea Mei  to record their first full length album.  On March 14 th 2001 was released ‘Stealth’, a self produced album of 11 original songs and presented to the public during a gig in a well known local rock/metal club. Soon after they started an Italian tour of 30 gigs that lasted one year and half.  On August 2001 the song ‘Take the Message’ was chosen to be part of ‘Cosarock 2001’, a compilation of local bands released after the ending of the homonym festival, during which Stealth also played.  On January 2002 Pimpini left the band to focus on his solo projects. Nazario Campofiloni, emerging musician of the area, becomes the first guitarist. During summer 2002 the audio/video compilation ‘Kosarock 2002’ was released with 3 Stealth’s songs performed live and recorded during the second edition of that festival.  CHECK AND COVER THIS OUT ! AND EARLY GIGS IN EUROPE The band resumed live performing after a forced break due to the guitarist change and worked on the 9 songs that would then be recorded from spring 2003 at the   ZdB  studios ,an independent label from Latina. After drums recording sessions ended Governatori decided to drop the band and Mirko Antolini replaced him. With Antolini Stealth started promoting the new album ‘Check this out !’ that was released in co-production with the Italian label ZdB on December 17th  2004.  ‘Check This Out !’ is Stealth’s second album, product of one year of work in search of both technical and artistic improvement. The result was an album with a captivating sound where the band pushed on toward a wide internationalism. Tracks are sung in Spanish, German, English, expressing the need of a new communication which aimed to win listeners beyond borders’ (ZdB press release)  The album received good national and international reviews and allowed the band to play their first gig abroad, more precisely in  Dubrovnik  ,  Croatia  at  Klub Orlando  on May 13 th 2006.  Just after that, Campofiloni told the band that his journey with Stealth was over. After some auditions, Marco Scocco became the new temporary guitarist and he allowed the band to finish the ‘Check This Tour’ including 2 amazing gigs in  Latvia  on March 23 rd and 24 th 2007 at Fontaine Palace Club in  Liepaja  and Klub Depo in  Riga  .  Also in 2007 the song ‘Crack ‘n Roll’ from the latest album was featured on an Italian heavy metal compilation called ‘SG Revolution II’ and released by  SG Records  . The perfect way to celebrate the first decade of music of the band.  On July Stealth went back at ZdB studios in Latina to record ‘Cover This Out!’, a project album featuring cover songs the band was playing during their early years and some 80s and 90s remakes. The album was released on 18 th July 2008 with a launch gig in Italy. The song Freestyler (cover of  Bomfunk MC’s  ) was included on the compilation ‘Cover For Madness’ released the same year by  SG Records  .  Some months later Marco Scocco left the band and in the early months of 2009 Stealth announced on its official website the reunion with Lorenzo Pimpini. After 7 years Lorenzo decided it was time to come back and the other members welcomed him back with open arms.  OTHER GIGS IN EUROPE - LIVE BOOTLEG AND BOILER After some weeks spent trying a new set list, the band went back on the road playing gigs in  Slovakia  ,  Switzerland  ,  Belgium  and Italy during the “Cover This Tour!” In December 2009, due to recurrent problems at his wrist, the drummer Mirko Antolini left the band. On March 21st 2010 Stealth choose David Gasparetti as new drummer. After various gigs in Italy during spring and summer to finish the ‘Cover This Tour !’ On October 30th 2010 Stealth hit the stage of ‘Rout 66’ in Kiev, Ukraine for a memorable show.  On December 30th 2010 the band released the official live bootleg ‘Alive For The Live’ with 13 tracks recorded live during the performance in Kiev, later mixed at the ZdB studios and distributed by CPRS/Venus Dischi.  Two official live music videos were released in 2011 from that album:  ‘Crack ‘n Roll’  and  ‘Take The Message’  .  On December 29th 2011 the band released the single ‘Boiler’, the first original song the band produced since ‘Check This Out!’. In June 2012 Stealth went back to studio but this time at the ‘UNDAtheC studios’ of Simone Cicconi in Macerata to start recording a new album. At the end of that year the band released a ‘Medley ’98-‘11’ of all the songs recorded until that period. The medley is available as free download on both their official website and  soundcloud channel  .  The song ‘Boiler’ was included on the compilation ‘All Metal 2013’ released by Sonny Music on May 21st 2013. Later that year the band released an  unofficial video  version of the song.  THE ‘FIGHT’ ERA On February 21st 2014 Stealth released its third unedited album  ‘Fight For Your Faith’ . The album was produced and recorded by Simone Cicconi at his UNDAtheC Studios in Macerata, Italy, mastered at HMM Studios in  Lilla Edet  ,  Sweden  and distributed by Sliptrick Records.  Few months after the release, the band started the ‘Fight For Your Tour’ performing in many European countries including  UK  , Croatia,  Hungary  ,  Slovenia  and Italy. During the tour, after a gig in Rome in 2016, the drummer David Gasparetti decided to leave the band. Following auditions the band welcomed Michele Cipolletta as new drummer at the end of November 2016. In the meanwhile the album got very good  national  and  international reviews  and hundreds of radio broadcastings over the world. The band released 3 official music videos from the album:  7 Hours Under Fire  ,  Perpetual War  and  Inner Land  .  They also appeared in various international compilations such as: the British  TBFM breaking bands 2016 summer  and winter CDs with the songs ‘7 Hours Under Fire’ and ‘Perpetual War’. On the 1 st of July 2018 the band released the remix album “Fight For Your Fate” showcasing DJs and artists from many countries. A Vicious End – A New Beginning - Reviewed By Metal Temple! - @thebeast

A Vicious End – A New Beginning - Reviewed By Metal Temple ! Check it out here at this link: http://www.metal-temple.com/site/catalogues/entry/reviews/cd_3/a_2/a-vicious-end-a-new.htm A VICIOUS END are a progressive metalcore band from the Bay Area, California. They are independently produced and are distributed through CD Baby. Founded in 2020, the band wrote and released the album “The Hills Will Burn” within a year of formation. In the face of a global pandemic, the band utilized the online platform Fiverr to bring together musicians from around the world for the creation of their debut album. “A New Beginning” kicks off the album with a nice little instrumental piece, seemingly warming up for the show itself. Guitars are flexing and seem to have melodies in flow nicely. “At Dawn We Ride” sound like it should be the title of an AMON AMARTH song, but the melodies built up from the previous song serve well here. The introduction of the vocals hits well, but for me the melodies are not even enough to match, they still sound like they are warming up. Vocally, it is very generic Metalcore, nothing that we haven't heard before from many bands previously. The pace does pick up, but never feels like its going to let go fully. “Fields Of Gray” needs to pick things up, shake it up. The start of the song doesn’t appear to do this. It needed more pace and something different harmony wise. The female guest vocals are a good addition, it adds depth, but musically, this song is in no way different to the others. Her appearance could have had a different tone to the male vocals, but they don’t. the pace is still sounding like the song has hit its peak and is starting to slow down. It’s a mid-level song, could be used in a good album as a bridge to change tempo in the album, but it really needed to have done more. “Smoke and Mirrors” has the same low-level pace and melodies playing through the motions. The melodies are fluid, but not expansive. The song is ticking over nicely, but fails to take off. Its only a short song and for me it never changes, it doesn’t seem to do anything, but with a few changes in direction, maybe even a solo it could have expanded the album, “Salt the Earth” has picked up the pace and aggression, finally. However, once it hits a semi-good level it stop progressing. The melodies are better than before, needs a bit more expansion once more, but it is heading in the right direction. “The Black Pearl” keeps this new found aggression going. It works well, just needed a better riff to match it. They do slow things down, which I never get why they do it mid-flow it slows the song down too much and fails to pick back up. Melody wise it is still a decent sound, but it is the same flavor as the rest of the album. “Trail Of Tears” goes into the instrumental experiment styles to start, before the generic Metalcore riff joins. The pace is not bad, needs more from the guitars here, but that seems to be the overall feel. When they try going heavier vocally, i.e. WHITECHAPEL levels, it fails and falls away. This song seems to be trying to expand the material more, but needed to take that extra step also. This is the best song of the album so far “Don’t Back Down” continues the aggressive (somewhat) start. However, it soon backs down unfortunately, and lays low with the pace. The song just sits in its own pace, refusing to move this is such a boring song in comparison to the previous, just as I thought the album was expanding, it started to close in on itself once more. “Without You” continues with the tired and dull approach, the album has already clearly peaked and now its just hurting the praise built up so far. This song was not needed. Its monotone and does not t justice to the progression of the album “Let the Waters Consume” has more pace than the previous song, but still sounds tired and short of ideas. It is just repeating the melodies and became little more than background noise for me. There is nothing new still with their approach. The worse part about this point of the album is that “Insidious” also did nothing to ignite the end of the album. It has a generic and mediocre sound to the melodies. There is some aggression in the song, but nothing special. A few screams and solos would have done wonders. “Behold The Archer” closes out the album with an instrumental start, as the vocals are included we hear the familiar sounds of the material used throughout the album. This could have been a song to flourish an ending to the album. It isn't. It isn't the worst song either, but it’s the same level as the rest of the material. I’ve been into Metalcore for 15+ years and I have heard it all. This album needs a shake up, some fresh ideas. Otherwise all future work will just sound generic. This is still early days for the band and I hope they see what they have done and how to expand and improve. Songwriting: 6 Musicianship: 6 Memorability: 6 Production: 6 A Vicious End Is a progressive metalcore band from the Bay Area, California. They are independently produced and are distributed through CD Baby. Founded in 2020, the band wrote and released the album “The Hills Will Burn” within a year of formation. In the face of a global pandemic, the band utilized the online platform “Fiverr” to bring together musicians from around the world for the creation of their debut album.   The “Hills Will Burn” features Igor Sokolov (St Petersburg, Russia) on vocals, Armando Diaz on Guitar/Bass/Drums, and guest performances by Christina Rotondo (U.K.- featured on “Fields Of Gray”), Daniel Picknell (U.K.- featured on “Without You”), Joylin (Ukraine- featured on “Behold The Archer”), and Carlos Carty (Peru- featured on “Trail of Tears”). The album was mixed and mastered by Filipe Gruber (Venezuela), the artwork was composed by Vhummel (Brazil).  The album features ominous, down-tuned guitar riffs paired with ferocious vocals centered around the growing social unrest spreading across America. A Vicious End’s first full-length work starts off with the short instrumental “A New Beginning”, which creates an epic heavy metal atmosphere but is soon interrupted by “At Dawn We Ride”. Noticeably a lot heavier, the second song continues on a more melodic death metal / metalcore note. Next on is the gentler “Fields of Gray” where we can enjoy Christina Rotondo’s beautiful clean vocals, complementing the main vocal line just perfectly. Then we can hear “Smoke and Mirrors” and “Salt The Earth” – two more upbeat and energetic songs followed by “The Black Pearl”. The latter seems to be the heaviest piece so far – the slow and heavy guitar parts even set an almost djent-like mood – certainly a great genre development. The following “Trail of Tears” is probably the most unexpected track on the record, combining the metal and metalcore genres with Carlos Carty’s traditional music elements which showcases Armando’s more experimental side. The next one, “Don't Back Down” sounds more aggressive in its beginning but the hypnotizing clean vocals gradually make it more progressive and melodic. In turn, “Without You” and Dan Picknell’s clean vocals again make for an interesting addition to the album and create a great contrast to everything else we have heard so far which was mostly incredibly heavy - not that anyone is complaining! We also cannot fail to mention the magnificent guitar parts which are present all over the record and are the one consistent element that make it truly memorable and compositionally outstanding. “Let The Waters Consume” and “Insidious” are also great examples of Armando’s guitar excellence. The twelfth and final song “Behold The Archer” ends with a touching and kind of open-ended violin part descending into silence. We can safely say that “The Hills Will Burn” is an intriguing and promising start to A Vicious End’s musical path! Motherfaster - Slower Father - Reviewed by The Median Man! - @thebeast

Motherfaster - Slower Father - Reviewed by The Median Man ! Check it out here at this link: https://www.themedianman.com/motherfaster-slower-father/ “Stash The Cash,” starts things off on the album. Slowly kicking things into gear with an intriguing melody or two, it rumbles through the cascades of time before eventually kicking into gear and creating a sludge monster. “Abused In The Garden of Love,” is a ripper. An absolute snorter of a song that catches the listener by the balls and refuses to let go. A ripper of a song. “Bull On A Parachute,” turns the tide, delivering a simple slap to the face of all time and bringing around some seriously groovy melodies. The cowbell is a brilliant touch. “Crocoblues,” is a monster. Combining the old blues notes with a turning slashing slice of pie, delivering a crazy world brush and moving into destructive whirlpools of time. “Evil Eye Removal,” picks up the speed again and goes for the good old fashioned rock and roll assault. It hits all the right notes to get people going crazy. The album is out now. Motherfaster is the result of a bad idea, that was born after the end of a jam session, during the end of 2011.  They are based in Athens with a common purpose. To extract the dirtiest side of their souls and present it as an audio insult. After playing some gigs during 2012 – 2013, they took the request of their fans for an official release seriously! Consequently they hit the studio to create their self titled debut. The recording process started in early 2014. George Emmanuel engineered the album and Jeffro Lackscheide mixed and mastered it. In November 2014 the first single “The nymph and the god” was featured in the compilation CD Fear Candy, that comes with Terrorizer magazine (Issue 254). Legendary metal bands Exodus and Obituary were also in this CD. They released “Motherfaster” on February 24, 2015. In the summer of 2016, they covered Impaled Nazarene’s magnum opus “Blood is thicker than water”. Then, the time came for the successor. Entitled “Slower Father”, it was recorded at Pentagram studio and mixing/mastering duties were handled by George Emmanuel. Nine explicit, dirty stories gilded with a mix of heavy metal – hard rock music. The second album is taking their signature sound one step further. Ruder, dirtier, heavier. Motherfaster released “Slower Father” on December 2, 2019. On January 25, 2020 they opened the Athenian show of metal pioneers Rotting Christ. During the following lockdown they recorded a cover version of Fleetwood Mac’s “The green Manalishi (With the two pronged crown)”. Fatal Sin – Episodes: The Complete Recordings - Reviewed By Metal Temple! - @thebeast

Fatal Sin – Episodes: The Complete Recordings - Reviewed By Metal Temple ! Check it out here at this link: http://www.metal-temple.com/site/catalogues/entry/reviews/cd_3/f_2/fatal-sin-episodes.htm FATAL SIN was a Trash Metal band from Boca Raton, Florida. They formed in 1985, went through multiple lineup changes, then solidified their membership by 1989 when they recorded their self-titled demo. The band unfortunately would go on hiatus in 1993 and later disband in 1997. On October 13, 2020, their recordings were collected and re-issued as “Episodes: The Complete Recordings.” The album comes with an eight-page booklet featuring archival photos and personal insights from Adam Riewold. Also included is a bonus DVD featuring their entire performance at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida in 1990. The album itself comprises six tracks, three studio and three live, spanning about 28 minutes. While albums of this nature appeal mostly to collectors and metal historians, I do have to say many of these tracks absolutely stand on their own. The best tracks, of course, are the studio recordings. The three tracks veer to the Prog side of the spectrum, laying out complicated arrangements across a vast array of tempos. Thematically, the band focuses on traditional Thrash lyrics protesting environmental and socio-political distress . . . all of which actually seem prophetic coming from thirty years ago and landing in 2020. As a vocalist, Adam Riewold is neither a guttural baritone nor a clean-throated virtuoso, but he does have that fanatical intonation that you expect from Thrash bands. The guitar work of Haven Eaton is impressive in its complexity and ferocity, but my favorite performance by far is Adam Riewold on bass, especially on “Episode.” The live tracks are interesting but don’t bear repeating except maybe from an historical perspective. Given the raw quality of the audio (apparently, they were having PA issues on the day), I’m thinking the DVD is much more entertaining with the added visual layer. On other fronts, the album artwork is very 80’s Thrash, so fun in a retro-type of way. Altogether, FATAL SIN’s “Episodes: The Complete Recordings” brings to light the combined talents of a band that is sorely missed. And while we can sit around and ponder what might have been, we might be better off just cranking it to 11 and soaking it in. Songwriting: 6 Musicianship: 7 Memorability: 6 Production: 5 FOR FANS OF: Atheist, (early) Megadeth, (early) Cynic FATAL SIN were formed in late 1985 in Boca Raton, Florida by guitarist Adam Riewold and drummer Greg Threlkel (who were in middle school at the time) out of a love for both the energized Thrash of bands such as Slayer and Megadeth as well as the more intricate arrangements of Rush. After going through a revolving door of musicians, the line-up solidified with the addition of guitarist Haven Eaton and bassist Kevin Bachaus. Fast forward, FATAL SIN would take home the top prize at a local Battle of the Bands, winning 4 hours of free studio time. With their winnings the band would enter Hollywood Sync Studios in  November  of  1989  to  record  their  first  demo.  Friend,  and  bassist  for  local  heavyweight's Saigon Kick Tom DeFile, produced. Armed with a quality recording, FATAL SIN would begin to gig heavily, sharing the stage with bands such as Vio-Lence, Devastation, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Raped Ape, Cynic, and Pantera. Not long after the recording of the 1989 Demo and that momentum began, Kevin would be diagnosed with spinal cancer and would have to exit the band.  Adam would switch from guitar to bass, making FATAL SIN a three piece. It would be during this period that the band would begin to be influenced by not only bands such as   Watchtower   and   Voi-Vod ,  but  also  by  the  complex  sounds  and  arrangements  of  classic Jazz/Fusion artists such as Return To Forever and Mahavishnu Orchestra . These influences are highly evident on their final studio recording, "Episode", which was recorded in 1991 for a local compilation album " Unsigned III: Killing Time ". Shortly  after  the  recording  of  “Episode”,  FATAL SIN  would  go  on hiatus  for  close  to  a  year before reemerging as UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE.  The band would issue one final 3-song selftitled demo in 1993 and disband in 1997. Greg Threlkel would go on to co-found the band BURNER in 1998 along with guitarists John Paul  Soars  ( Raped  Ape/Paingod/Malevolent  Creation/Divine  Empire )  and  Jason  Morgan ( Monstrosity ), who would record one album for Arctic Music Group in 1992 titled “One For The Road”. Adam Riewold moved to Tampa, Florida and has been involved in multiple projects, with his most recent being the band LEVEL THE PLANET. This deluxe re-issue features all of the bands studio recordings, as well as 3 live songs, fully remastered  from  the  original  sources  by  Rob  Colwell  at  Bombworks  Sound  and  an  8-page booklet featuring archival photos and some personal insights from Adam Riewold. Pressure - Julstress - Reviewed By Local Smokeout! - @thebeast

Pressure - Julstress - Reviewed By Local Smokeout ! Check out the video review below! “In their own melodic way, Pressure takes the unique Scandinavian metal sound to become a ferocious breath of fresh air in the modern metal scene” – The Other Side Press Release Band: Pressure Track: ‘Julstress’ - ISRC – QZNWV2077637 Release Date: 11th December 2020 Written and composed by Simon Forsell, Olof Jönsson, Emil Salling  Copyright:  Pressure 2020 ‘Julstress’ HO! HO! HO!  IT’S CHRISTMAS and Swedish rockers Pressure have penned their first Christmas song! ‘Julstress’ sees its release 11th December, 2020 and this is one Christmas song that will stand out from the crowd! From the opening riff you’ll be rocking out for the full 2.35 and you’ll never think of ‘Jingle Bells’ in the same way every again! The track may well be delivered with driving guitar riffs and a sometimes growling bass vocal but it still manages to touch on the sensitive issue of how some people struggle with the pressure of the festivities.  The guys wrote the track as a distraction whilst getting their heads down writing new material that will see the light of day in 2021. There will be a full video supporting the release. The Band Who are Pressure I hear you ask? Well if you had to tag them with a genre the one that fits best is a ‘melodic rock’ but they’re so much more than that. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden and with vocalist Olof Jönsson you can always guarantee soaring, athletic and committed vocals.  Together with a twin guitar sound coming from songwriter and lead guitarist Simon “Siirpo” Forsell and Emil Salling. Their work often focuses and embraces the pressures felt from everyday existence. Their lyrics ably demonstrating that there are two sides to every story - the good and the bad. Every song has a double meaning and they truly see music as a tool to handle the different pressures thrown at us from the modern world.  The band began their journey together in 2018, and since then they’ve worked tirelessly developing their sound and live performance, their aim? To make memories with their fans and to an epic musical soundtrack. A quote that can summarize their lyrics is: “How can you tell a story about life if you haven’t dared to live life to its fullest!  Pressure is all about every story, every moment, every Pressure! Julstress - Lyrics INTRO A star shining with a marvelous light Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way Yeah! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way VERSE You’re running around, Christmas should be white We need to buy our Christmas gifts There’s shouting and lots of work, almost like a rite Don’t forget to light the candles, wrap the gifts, do the rhyme  and don’t forget the cards Dress the tree and your children too Soon the guests will arrive but there’s millions of things left  For everyone except me BRIDGE To be alone at Christmas Can never be fun, right? (no, no, no, no) CHORUS Christmas is here, but I'm taking it easy, I sit down and take a deep breath No stress, just relax Christmas is best when I´m alone Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way  Yeah! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way VERSE Christmas can be chaos, everyone is here now Put the gifts under the Christmas tree, Where is Santa and the porridge? Who found the almond? The drinks glitter in the bar Ham, turkey, gravy and a little more The children are screaming and playing Do you want to sit down? No the party needs more You just smile but can never relax To be alone when it's Christmas Can be really nice, right? (yes, yes, yes, yes) CHORUS Christmas is here, but I'm taking it easy, I sit down, take a deep breath No stress, no agitation Christmas is best when I´m alone INTERLUDE The cold of the midwinter night is severe, the stars sparkle and twinkle, Everyone is sleeping in the Christmas calm deep below the midnight sky, The moon travels its silent path, the snow shines white on pine and oak, the snow glows white on the rooftops. BIOGRAPHY Silenced Minstrel (age 44 years, born Saiful Nizam Shukor, 28 th March 1976) was a full time singer, songwriter musician from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Been playing music since 1991 he co-founded HALUN, a gothic black metal band back in 1996, produced several demos, one EP and one LP before the badly deformed monstrosity was laid to rest in 2015. Writing and producing mostly in his bedroom studio nicknamed “Sky Panacea Enterprise” he spent the entire 2016 gathering writing and recording materials for his debut album “Volume 1” choosing to name it as such as to not make it sounds too rockstar-ish.  “Volume 1” is a combination of melodic gothic stuff mixed with thrash, death and doom metal riffs and black metal atmosphere, utilizing the most basic of guitar effects, cheap keyboards/ synthesizers and MIDI orchestra throughout the entire album to produce something that he’d always wanted to do: anything that didn’t sound like his former band! The album is completed in September but it be long after the production of the second album was underway when that album graced the scene... The second album “Volume 2” saw some maturity in his songwriting, the MIDI orchestra part ditched altogether and it also saw a fair amount of rough edges deliberately highlighted in the mix, and a lot more gothic atmosphere throughout than before especially in the lyrics department, where he wrote songs about the occult, immortality, vampirism and forbidden love between the mortal and the damned, also some cryptic poetic inclinations thrown to the mix just for the heck of it. The third album “Volume 3” saw him moving ever closer towards a more melodic black metal sound than the old one, this time the long ditched MIDI orchestra element restored along with some double-layered bass guitar tracks and even gloomier atmosphere than before, reflecting the state of his mind, body, spirit and environment that he’s at during that period of time; with traces of anger, hatred, betrayal and vengeance gracing every song in the album (he fully recovered from his decade long clinical depression that same year). The fourth album “Volume 4” saw him disposing of all the gothic melodic stuff and straight into just vocals guitars bass and drums, trying to go as dry and as harsh as he can, tackling on darker themes like deviant spirituality, Satanism, atheism, philosophy and dark fantasy. Fast tempo is the name of the game; the drums gained more prominence and absolutely no melodic stuff present on this album. The fifth album “Volume 5” saw the further development of sound and direction from the previous album, adding also an orchestral style instrumental black metal song as the last track of the album, a song that hearkens back to his old days in HALUN. The artist is currently occupied promoting his new album, gathering materials for the sixth album and also working on his other band “Shadowed Grace” playing New Age Scifi Fantasy Instrumental Synthesizer music. Silenced Minstrel is unsigned and is looking for exposure, a recording contract and developing fanbases all across the globe. Weight Of Emptiness - "Conquering The Deep Cycle" - Reviewed By The Doorway To Magazine! - @thebeast

ICYMI: Weight Of Emptiness - "Conquering The Deep Cycle"  - Reviewed By The Doorway To Magazine ! Check it out in the video below! Weight Of Emptiness is a Chilean band of metal which practice a mixture style in which can be distinguished progressive, death, doom, and black metal. The band has its origins in 2012, when the former members from the missing band Twilight Mist, Juan Acevedo and Alejandro Bravo on guitars and Alejandro Ruiz on vocals, started to make their first compositions. On Twilight Mist they had a career path of almost 10 years, innovating on progressive metal trends, so decided continuing the legacy, adding actual elements to their music. The first formation was completed with bassist David Hernández and Mauricio Basso on drums, leader of Letargo band, with almost 25 years of career, both incorporating a rhythmic base full of progressive elements, which give Weight Of Emptiness the characteristic and avant-garde sound recognized into the Chilean metal scene. Between August and September of 2016, they started recording their musical material for what will be their debut album. The drums are recorded at Alba Road studios by Eduardo Demangel and the rest in The Farm. The mixing and mastering is done by Richard Iturra. At the end of the recording process, David Hernández left the band, so they recruited the bassist Manuel Villarroel. On March 4, 2017 they independently released the first LP called “Anfractuous Moments For Redemption”, which is digitally edited worldwide thanks to the British label Sepulchral Silence on more than 14 streaming platforms. In physical format it is edited independently in digipack format.  As part of the promotion plan for the new album, in May 2017 a Concert Live Video is released at Bar Óxido (October 2016) and on October 20, 2017 is released the video clip for the song "Behind The Masks". Between October 27 and November 4, 2017 the band performs its first international tour in 6 cities in Mexico. In addition to the shows in Mexico, the band performs in different stages throughout Chile.  The album “Anfractuous Moments For Redemption” is highlighted by the Humo Negro site among the best Chilean albums of 2017. In addition, the album is included in the “The 12 Best Chilean Metal Albums 2017” Ranking of The Resistance webzine and in the “Top 320 Latin Albums of 2017” from Headbangers Latin America webzine. On March 16, 2018 the band releases their second video clip of the song "The Silence". On March 22, 2018 the album "Anfractuous Moments For Redemption" is re-released in Mexico in a co-production with the labels Concreto Records and Sun Empire Productions. The album "Anfractuous Moments For Redemption" is nominated for the 2018 Escuchar Awards in the Best Extreme Metal Disco category. On November 17, 2018 the band releases its third video clip of the song "Unbreakable". The bassist Manuel Villarroel leaves the band and in his replacement comes the former bassist of the progressive metal band Tremates, Mario Urra, whose debut is made when the band first visits Argentina in the framework of the 2018 Lado Salvaje Festival of the city of Mendoza, subsequently editing a Live Video with the full show.  On August 31, 2019 the band released their second studio album called "Conquering The Deep Cycle." The album was recorded at The Farm and Audio Custom Studios, and was mixed and mastered again by Richard Iturra. The album is published under the label Australis Records with international distribution. SAGENLAND premiere new track at "Decibel" magazne's website - features members of HEIMDALLS WACHT, ASGRAW, CULTUS, MESLAMTAEA++ - @thebeast

Today, Dutch black metal classicists Sagenland premiere the new track  "Bladval"  at  Decibel magazine's website . The track hails from the band's long-awaited debut album, Oale groond, set for international release on January 15th, 2021 via Heidens Hart Records. Hear Sagenland's "Bladval" in its entirety exclusively  HERE . Sagenland is a black metal project from Twente, Netherlands, founded at the turn of the millennium. Driving forces behind the project are A. (Cultus, Heimdalls Wacht, Uuntar) and F. (Asgrauw, Meslamtaea), who share an obsession for traditional Scandinavian black metal such as the legendary Ulver trilogy, old Dodheimsgard, and Arckanum. Sagenland plays folk-injected black metal with a leading role for melodic bass parts, epic choirs, and acoustic guitars. In 2005, the band released the three-track EP Bladval on a split LP. The label ceased activity shortly after, so only a handful of copies were distributed, making this a real collectors item. Fifteen years later, Sagenland awakened from dormancy and finally deliver their debut album, Oale groond. The album follows the tradition of riff-based, well-written, actual songs, while capturing nostalgia, romanticism, and aggression in a way that is rare nowadays. This is sincere and honest traditional and folkish-themed grim black metal. Lyrics are mostly in the local dialect and describe sagas and local poetry from the countryside between Regge and Dinkel, where Sagenland is rooted. In the meantime, hear the brand-new track "Bladval" exclusively  HERE , courtesy of Decibel, North America's only monthly metal magazine. Acherontia Styx - Shadow & Flame - Reviewed By Necromance! - @thebeast

Acherontia Styx - Shadow & Flame - Reviewed By Necromance ! check it out here at this link: http://necromance.eu/acherontia-styx-gbr-shadow-flame/ "Shadow & Flame" is the debut album by the English ACHERONTIA STYX , released by the young London label Dwarrowdelf Records (DINENTHAL, FRACTURED PLANET, DTS OVERDRIVE) last September. Little more than a year has passed, since their EP "Your Possible Pasts", which contained four songs, although they have had a handful of singles releases, before and after it (perhaps little baggage to have formed since 2007, it seems indicate). Their modern-style melodic death metal certainly has contemporary influences, but it can satisfy the appetites of fans who like the genre in general and are not too purist. Proof of this, are the registers of their voices (old school guttural classic), as a whole they are always brutal and although at certain times, they combine choppy times with clean guitars, intensity and aggressiveness are a fact. "Pleasures of her Flesh" is his business card, it contains all these commented elements and great changes of pace. The central body of the album, composed of the cuts “Scorned”, in which they receive the collaboration, of the Dutch vocalist Linn Liv (PICTURA POESIS / CYANIDE PARADISE), “Eyes of Glass” and “As Above so Below”, enjoy which are probably the best moments of this “Shadow & Flame”, without forgetting the ending “She Begs for More” either. They also house touches of Groove metal or progressive mixing with the aforementioned melody, in terms of the lyrics, ACHERONTIA STYX is made up of Grant Crossan on lead vocals (apparently all other members are equally involved in that field), Paul Taylor on bass, Adam Ashbridge on guitars (the latter have handled production duties in addition to much of the compositions) and Jake Burden on drums. Fifty minutes and ten songs wrapped in a powerful sound, a melodic death metal that can sometimes remind you of bands like THE HAUNTED, ARCH ENEMY, LAMB OF GOD ... If they are among your musical tastes, give this good British quartet a chance. 7/10 For fans of Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Killswitch Engage, At The Gates Haling from Northern England , Acherontia Styx bring multiple creative influences to the table. Their core sound is steeped in 90s Groove and Death Metal , with individual members bringing a host of external flavors into the mix including PROG, GRIND and FUNK . The result is a melodic and emotional Metal masterpiece laden with catchy hooks, ferocious rhythms and solos that are bordering on genius. The band launch a 3 pronged lyrical attack on the listener, with vocal and writing duties shared between Grant, Jake and Paul, over compositions primarily written by the phenomenal writing team of Adam Ashbridge and Paul Taylor. For the month of July in 2019, the band destroyed the polls at The Battle Of The Bands on Metal Devastation Radio , gathering 6,738 votes from fans all over the world! Check it out HERE ! Acherontia Styx did an interview with The Thunderhead Show in 2019 which can be listened to HERE! The follow up to last years acclaimed debut " Your Possible Pasts " has already generated a wealth of stunning press comments and media support following the singles " As Above So Below ", a brutal slice of Old School Death Metal mastery, and " Blackened Serenade ", a highly emotional Melo-Death showcase of the bands depth in talent. The addition of these final tracks to the press folder marks the completion of the album, after production stalled due to recent world events. Check out this video! Vile Cynic - Agony - Reviewed By Metal Temple ! Check it out here at this link: http://www.metal-temple.com/site/catalogues/entry/reviews/cd_3/v_2/vile-cynic-agony.htm From Chicago, Illinois a new metal band that combines the aggressions of Thrash metal and the macabre of Death Metal, and on  August 1st, 2020 VILE CYNIC released a four track E.P. entitled "Agony" following the band’s initial June 3rd, 2019 release of a four track E.P. entitled “Sovereigns of Death”. “Tools of the Tormentor” - the initial album track begins with Angelo Hakey utilizing a yell as an eighth note (pick-up note) before the band is heard immediately in progress of a perfect thrash upheaval. “On th’ other side up rose” Jake Banjeglav “in act more graceful and humane; a fairer sprit lost not Heav’n (Paradise Lost / II /  111/ John Milton)” whose guitar solo begins at one minute fifty-five seconds, and is beautifully mellifluous with a haunting allure - enduring about twenty seconds;  before completion, Jake Meditz & A.J. Miller combine the rhythm and bass together in a sound of which I cannot hear enough:  they’ve been utilizing this sonority at various points throughout the song–but here it resounds in pure & perfect uninterrupted hate. It is wrong of me to abstain from accrediting Tim Titus - who jumped into this release feet first.  Without his ability & style, the band wouldn’t & could’t create this musical perfection.  After an initial hearing of this, listen once again as the guitar solo finishes; if you don’t break the first two objects you see, I’ll curtsy you. “Blood Eagle” is the second album track. he thrash-brutality of the dual Jake Meditz & Jake Banjeglav guitar sounds propelled by Tim Titus & A.J. Miller are the non-pareil of metal. The immensely of the rhythm sound and feel as the band moves to the II Chord (second fret - F#) but then accents via the up beat on the Chromatic F encourages the listeners to kick (hopefully the air - but if you must break something, I won’t tattle).   At about two minutes twenty five seconds–the guitar and bass again combine into a furious sound–while the drums (fist just before your face–but Tim Titus will not hit you; rather, he kicks your __ with his feet). After Jake Banjeglav  completes more of his magical allure, the key moves back to the II Chord again as the listener’s fists clench through the upbeat chromatic accents. As I reach the third album track, “Hell Priest”,  I find myself in love: “high heels over head if you know what I mean”;  like the music of J.S. BACH–that is inclusive of the best that others do, yet VILE CYNIC does it better. They remove the pretensions of unnecessary speed yet add the viciousness and ferocity of death metal. The allure of Jake Banjeglav’s melodious leads is both innovative & enthralling.  Tim Titus drives us to the song end with a death rolling groove. “An End to Agony” - the fourth & final track has a seethingly heavy riff centered upon A.J. Miller’s bass.  The rhythm guitar doubles it as it pounds along the pedal route - that roll with a chromatic pull-off at the octave.   The bass-drum fills of Tim Titus are speedy, groovin’, & quick. At thirty five seconds- the entire band sustains two beat rest - which finds home at the slower tempo of the song’s motivic head.   The bass together with the rhythm guitar resume that vicious,  furious–even sinister sound before     At four minutes ten seconds, Jake Banjeglav’s singing leads are accompanied with drum and bass to the song end–shortly prior to which sporadic rhythm guitar accompanies the remaining session. VILE CYNIC has something to play; and when you hear them, you’re sure to not only listen but react. Again I hope to see other viewers tune in to the December 27th 2020 premiere of Blood Moon’s Lyric Video. Weight Of Emptiness - "Conquering The Deep Cycle" - Reviewed By The Doorway To Magazine! - @thebeast

Weight Of Emptiness - "Conquering The Deep Cycle"  - Reviewed By The Doorway To Magazine ! NOISKIN's New Single And Video “Save me” Out Now! - @thebeast

FYI: Alternative metallers NOISKIN have released their touching new single and video “Save me”, dedicated to a friend who passed away last Summer! Watch “Save me” here: The band on the single: “Save me” is dedicated to a friend of ours who passed away last summer. It's a song about rage and pain, that has given us the strength to carry on during these very hard times, aware that we have to live every single day as if it were the last one. There are things that we can change, some others we cannot. We have to be wise in understanding the difference. Art by Leonardo Colombo & Sonia Balestri ------------    More information on NOISKIN In 2015, Luca (lead vocals) and Marco (lead guitar) teamed up with their longtime friend Simone (bass guitar) and met Federico (drummer). A common mindset and the different though keen musical backgrounds were the perfect soil to plant the Noiskin seed. The band soon started to work on their first tracks, and found their musical dimension into the alternative metal scene. Songs soon started to draw the common scenario that would become the first full length, Hold Sway Over, released in February, 2019: a concept album revolving around the theme of choices and the situations they put you into. While the album was being written and recorded, the band gigged around northern Italy. Noiskin is not only music. Noiskin means communicating, it means feeling, it is sharing. Alter Idem - Fragments Of Consciousness - Reviewed By Necromance Magazine! - @thebeast

Alter Idem - Fragments Of Consciousness - Reviewed By Necromance Magazine ! Check it out here at this link: http://necromance.eu/alter-idem-aus-fragments-of-consciousness/  From Australia we get the debut EP of ALTER IDEM, a Brutal Death band, with many technical reminiscences and also quite a few breakdowns that, accompanied by the ultra-throaty voice of Matt Turkingtom, gives them a touch of Deathcore, which does not look bad providing some greater brutality to the cocktail. There are four songs that they offer us in this debut, all with a duration of between four and three minutes and where the band reels a good amount of heavy riffs such as granite slabs, crushing drums and a bass with a lot of presence and that is an authentic crusher. Although they do not offer anything new and that we have already heard before in other bands, we must admit that the songs despite their brutality have a good structure, and at no time do they become heavy, mixing very fast riffs with others closer to the Slam. For me, the best song on the EP is the second "Fragments of Consciousness", where Death Metal riffs predominate and I think the band has done a better job in composition. If what attracts you is the most modern Brutal Death with some “core” influence without a doubt, the initial "Paradoxical Design" or "Neural Adaptation" will be your favorites. Although there are also good riffs that Brutal Death fans will surely enjoy. Also highlight the sound of the recording, very clear, appreciating each and every one of the instruments in all their splendor, something to highlight in a debut. Good EP, a very interesting business card that shows the potential of the band, which can undoubtedly provide a fan base for future releases. 7/10 Australian death metal band Alter Idem delivers the first taste of their new sound in the form of a 4 track EP titled " Fragments of Consciousness ". ALTER IDEM is a 4 piece death metal band hailing from Australia , featuring members of Internal Devour , I Exalt, and Empires Fall . With each band having success in their own right, ALTER IDEM will be no different as we continue our push to create relentless and forward-thinking death metal .
