To complete the lineup, they invited Denis Lima and Sama Benedet , and together finished the first songs which would become a EP to introduce them to the music scene, but with new ideas flowing it naturally became something bigger and they decided it was time to start the pre-production of a full-length.  Between April and August of 2019 the band went to Estúdio Fusão , a studio owned by Thiago Bianchi (ex-Shaman, Noturnall) , to record “ Steelbound ”, and having Thiago responsible for the production, mixing and mastering. For the artwork they partnered with Gustavo Sazes , a veteran Brazilian artist who previously worked with names like Manowar , Arch Enemy and Morbid Angel .  In its lyrics, " Steelbound " addresses different subjects and experiences that are brought to the listener through metaphors, seeking an authentic connection with the fans, giving them the opportunity to make their own personal interpretations of each song.  Ignited ’s debut album delivers energetic and catchy melodies to make fans bang their heads, with a sonority described by critics as “inspired by traditional heavy metal , but with identity and modern approach”. After making it available on digital platforms and release a video and a lyric video, the band signed a deal with Voice Music to make a physical release of the album in Brazil in June of 2020. New Music: Pneuma Hagion - Voidgazer LP - @thebeast

Pneuma Hagion once again joins forces with Nuclear War Now! Productions to release its debut full-length, Voidgazer. The band and label first collaborated in 2015 to bring forth the first Pneuma Hagion demo, Trinity I, and resumed their allegiance approximately three years later with the release of the Trinity LP, which compiled that original demo and the two ensuing demos in the series.  Like the earlier recordings, Voidgazer presents a starkly monolithic variety of death metal that reflects the emptiness personified in the title. The sound itself evokes the same stifling oppressiveness of Incantation and Immolation, as it alternates between fast tempos and bludgeoning doom passages, firmly aligning itself with one of the most revered schools of U.S. death metal. The music is a unique style of symphonic black death metal with occasional  interludes of dark synth . The music focuses on dark and sinister melodies all while maintaining heaviness and intensity.   The new release “Multitudes of Emptiness” has eight tracks that will leave the listener floating in the vast emptiness of space and existence where nothingness prevails. Four songs are a unique style of symphonic black death metal and three tracks are dark interludes. The final song is a hybrid of the old synth style and the new heavy guitar style, an emotional instrumental that blends heavy doomy guitars with synths and orchestral parts. The lyrics are well thought out and will help draw the listener into the intensity and emotion of the music.   After the Roadrunner death metal purge in the mid 1990s my band, Sorrow, called it quits. Inspired by the intros and interludes on extreme metal albums, I started Journey Into Darkness in the mid 90s as an all synth solo project. After releasing just one album “Life Is a Near Death Experience” the project was put on hold for quite some time. Resurrected in 2018 guitars and vocals were added to give new dimension and depth to the music.  The result is a sound like no other. In keeping with the motivation that gave birth to Journey Into Darkness, all instruments on “Multitudes of Emptiness” are virtual. The new Brazilian metal band, The Damnnation, releases the videoclip for the single "Apocalypse". The track is part of the EP entitled 'Parasite', which will be released in November by the label Xaninho Discos. The band also recently announced that they will be performing at the 7th Edition of the Roadie Crew Online Festival that takes place on October 9th at 7.30pm on the official Roadie Crew Youtube Channel. "Apocalypse" brings a new and extremely heavy sound, a different style within the extreme metal being difficult to classify in just one specific genre. The single is available on all digital platforms. The Damnnation is a female power trio that brings a versatile sound that mixes several strands of extreme metal. Three insane girls making metal without labels, aware and consistent with themes about depression, injustice and politics. With influences from Testament, Megadeth, Nervosa and Kreator. New Promo: Ignited - Steelbound - (Traditional Heavy Metal) - @thebeast

For fans of Judas Priest, Manowar, King Diamond In January of 2017 the musicians Dalton Castro and Maurício Velasco decided to create Ignited, a band with the proposal to play energetic heavy metal with great melodies. To complete the lineup, they invited Denis Lima and Sama Benedet , and together finished the first songs which would become a EP to introduce them to the music scene, but with new ideas flowing it naturally became something bigger and they decided it was time to start the pre-production of a full-length.  Between April and August of 2019 the band went to Estúdio Fusão , a studio owned by T hiago Bianchi (ex- Shaman , Nocturnal ), to record “ Steelbound ”, and having Thiago responsible for the production, mixing and mastering. For the artwork they partnered with Gustavo Sazes , a veteran Brazilian artist who previously worked with names like Manowar , Arch Enemy and Morbid Angel .  In its lyrics, " Steelbound " addresses different subjects and experiences that are brought to the listener through metaphors, seeking an authentic connection with the fans, giving them the opportunity to make their own personal interpretations of each song.  Ignited ’s debut album delivers energetic and catchy melodies to make fans bang their heads, with a sonority described by critics as “inspired by traditional heavy metal , but with identity and modern approach”. After making it available on digital platforms and release a video and a lyric video, the band signed a deal with Voice Music to make a physical release of the album in Brazil in June of 2020. When the pandemic struck I was inspired to finish this piece that was laying dormant for quite some time and then when the opportunity struck to film a music video I knew right away this was the song. The concept to this music video is being out in the middle of no where and feeling secluded. They entered the city as a three piece (Holiday with bassist/guitarist Jimmy Glass, and drummer Benni Manchino) with no real experience in the scene, but a certain drive and ambition that only gods could counter. After three years of adjusting and playing a handful of shows, the band finally released some music in the form of 2015's   The Bear .   Roughly inspired by the DIY ethos of black metal recording techniques, the EP was recorded with two mics in a garage which ultimately explains its grit and distortion. The following year   RUFF MAJIK   released   The Fox   which ultimately led to more shows, a spot within the then newly established South African doom/stoner scene, and a few small touring opportunities. 2016 was also the year of the track "Wax Wizard," a crowd pleasure to this day.   The Swan  stuck its neck out in 2017 followed by  Seasons , the record that earned the band international recognition. Freak Valley Festival reached out to the band which led to a German/Austrian tour with The Devil And The Almighty Blues in early 2018. Musically, ORPLID once again demonstrate their wide range of influences and modes of expression that go beyond the artistic shackles many Neofolk outfits are content to wear. As if to stress this point, the East Germans invited Katrin Lindner, an iconic rock singer in the former German Democratic Republic, to contribute her voice on the track 'Dunkle Stunde' and implemented neoclassical elements via pulsing electronics. With the debut recorded using a trial-and-error method in their home studio due to the absence of any more or less professional recording studios in the city the guys reach satisfactory level of quality. Actually, “ Fidus Achates ” – the debut album of ARCANUM SANCTUM finished in January of 2009 – is the most proficient metal record made in their region back then. On this almost completely Russian-language album (except for one song – “ Shadowed ”) released by MORE HATE PROD . in 2010 and warmly welcomed by fans and the press (Surprise of the month at www.metalreviews.com in August of 2010) the band takes traditional melodic death metal to heart and combines this sound with elements of technical thrash metal and contrasting deep melodic instrumentals – as stated by the press the dynamic switch between aggressive melodic death metal and both acoustic and keyboard instrumentals is this album’s most captivating aspect. Having no stable line-up yet inspired by warm reception of the debut, Vadim decides to focus on composing the new songs for the follow-up album. " Veritas Odium Parit " is released in December of 2012 by BUIL2KILL RECORDS under the auspices of the legends of technical death metal – SADIST (Italy). The album gets positive reviews worldwide. According to the musical critics, “ Veritas Odium Parit ” raises the band to a new level and proves its versatility and maturity – the songs are very melodic, complex and found the converging point of aggression and technique with progressive touch. Enthusiastic about the band’s progress, new members come on board even despite the 1150km distance between their hometown and the base-city of the band – as is the case with Nikolay Kondratyev (drums, FALLCIE , ex- DEHYDRATED ). With the new line-up ARCANUM SANCTUM participate in MADE IN KOREA metal festival ( Seoul, Republic of Korea ). Soon after the band gets in touch with Mort prod. (China) and schedules a China tour for May- June of 2015. Along with playing shows in the Far Eastern region and preparing for the tour, Vadim develops a totally new album concept with a challenging approach to composing. After the China tour the musicians decide to focus on new material occasionally playing some local shows. The new album is dedicated to the Soviet science fiction with lyrics based on the works of the Soviet sci-fi writers and the music significantly influenced by the Soviet sci-fi movie soundtracks and such bands with progressive and non-trivial approach, like AMORPHIS and DARK TRANQUILLITY . The English language of the lyrics opens the worlds created behind the "Iron Curtain" to those who is not familiar with the Soviet school of sci-fi devoid of shopworn alien invaders and apocalyptic prophecies, while the deep and majestic growls and confident clean singing of the new vocalist Ivan Beschastny embody spiritual and physical strength of the men of future. After a long, both physically and mentally demanding process of composing and recording the album is mixed and mastered at Unisound AB by the famous Dan Swanö . The Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavors Signs Worldwide Deal with Extreme Management Group - @thebeast

The Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavors started off as a passion project by Hate Storm Annihilation founder Craig Schmuhl who had been interested in pursuing musical endeavors outside the sonic boundaries of the Death Metal genre for quite some time. With the intention of delivering a more diverse musical experience, he began writing in the summer of 2015. No real purpose or goals, just writing with the only mission statement being that it NEEDED to be music made without limitation; genre, song length, or “standard song form” in any way. In other words, TRUE PROGRESSIVE MUSIC . By 2016 he had a full record's worth of materials that felt worthy of being recorded. Shortly after, he met Puerto Rican drummer/roommate William Candelario while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA . Opposite to Craig, William’s musical background was strong in African rhythms found in Puerto Rican folklore and jazz . On an absolute whim, Craig asked William if he had any interest in playing together. Needless to say, William was eager to infuse his roots into a heavier sound, and the two spent the next 2 years hashing out and recording what would be T he Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavors first album release “ A Humanistic Perspective ”. Without ever really intending on playing the music out, the initial reaction amongst peers was very positive. There was SOMETHING there, and it needed to be played out to an audience. Soon after coming to this conclusion, Craig offered Trevor Martin and Tyler Novak the Guitarist/Keyboardist and Bassist positions of the band. Both musicians were lifelong fans of the Progressive style and perfectly integrated themselves into The Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavors ’ sound. Since the summer of 2019, The Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavors have been hitting the road to deliver a unique live musical experience that offers incredible dynamic range to a wide array of sonic territories. Everything from 70’s Progressive Rock, 90’s Alternative Rock/Shoegaze, 80’s New Wave, 2000’s Post-Rock, and even hints of Modern “Extreme Metal” . The lyrical themes are primarily focused around reflecting different aspects of human life be they Social, Environmental, Political, Spiritual , and in some cases much more personal.  Being a band that casts such a wide net over such a large musical identity comes the other personal liberties it’s allotted. This includes the large variety of shows and bands The Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavors can/have performed with. Everything from Punk, Technical Death Metal, Fusion, Alternative Pop, Singer Songwriters, and many other kinds of bands/acts. But what about the name? It would be fair to assume The Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavors ’ name is based off of some chocolatey LSD trip that sends the listener spiraling off into the outer reaches of space, searching for extraterrestrial beings and the true meaning of life. But jokes aside, this is very much the intention behind the band. We want to get people asking “ What is a Mystical Hot Chocolate Endeavor ? And what does a band with a name like that even sound like?”. We treat every song as its own musical journey with the intention being; to entertain, get you thinking, and maybe even provoke some kind of deeper connection to yourself and the world around you.
