The music video will also be available on the same day on the official YouTube channel. "BEHIND THIS DOOR" is a Power Ballad that was actually written a few years ago after a very painful breakup, but it took a while until Chris felt ready to finish the song. He finally recorded "BEHIND THIS DOOR" during the Covid19-lockdown in end of 2020. As its origin suggests, the song is about a hard time after a relationship has ended. The song’s protagonist is facing the fact that the beloved one will not come back and is trying to move on. The phrase "when a door closes, a window opens" comes into the protagonist’s mind, but what is, if the protagonist is (still) loving the one who is behind this door? Although Chris has written the lyrics inspired by his own situation many years ago and is maintaining the vocals for this song, it is important for him to leave it open what gender the protagonist or the beloved one have, so that everyone can put themselves in their shoes. Short bio: Chris Maragoth is a same-titled musical project based out of Germany. After several other projects, Chris Maragoth was founded in February 2017 to pursue his own musical endeavors. Being a guitarist primarily, Chris writes, arranges and records instrumental and vocal parts on his own. Occasionally Chris collaborates with other musicians, but mostly friends and former band mates. The musical style is a fluent transition between several genres of rock and metal music, but can be mostly described as modern rock and melodic metal.
